Far Niente Wine Crate Step Stool featuring the Cave Collection

The Far Niente winery has some genuine, California gold rush era history with its first wine production in 1885. The vineyard was abandoned during Prohibition and restored in 1979 with the first wines produced on site again in 1982. We have recycled some of the shipping crates, which once embraced their fine aged wines, to create some gorgeous step stools. Each piece we produce is unique; the one pictured is from their Cave Collection crate panel. The base has a walnut stain and the top is stained honey to accentuate the beautiful details of the logo. We finish our work with cabinet grade lacquer so that you may use your stepping piece for many years as the name Far Niente translates, “without a care”.
